Equipment Donation Agreement Signed with Schneider Electric d.o.o.
We are pleased to announce that on November 25, 2024, a Donation Agreement was signed between Schneider Electric d.o.o. and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Split (FESB). Under this agreement, Schneider Electric d.o.o. donated equipment to the Faculty worth over €8,500.
The donation includes six laboratory sets consisting of rectifiers (24 V DC power supply), PLC M241 (controller for system management and automation), switches, HMI panels (touchscreen for process status display), frequency converters, and other necessary protective and signaling equipment, also including software licenses.
These devices are donated to equip the laboratories at the Faculty, and for the purpose of educating students enroling courses such as Regulation of Electrical Machines, Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, Control of Electric Motor Drives, and Practical Training in Regulation of Electrical Machines.
On behalf of Schneider Electric d.o.o., the equipment was handed over by Joško Rebić, MSc Eng.
