ASPEMS

Project duration: August 2017 - July 2021

About

“Active system for electric energy storage and stabilization of electric grid” – ASPEMS project is collaboration research and development project of company Sintaksa and Faculty of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and naval architecture from Split in development of active stabilization system of weak and isolated energy grids.

Research includes development of electrical energy storage and distribution components and implementation of predictive automation algorithms that will increase stability of weak and isolated electrical grids. Technology developed main applications are energy network stabilization, power plants production optimization and electric grid balancing.

Project is financed from structural EU funds from program “Povećanje razvoja novih proizvoda i usluga koji proizlaze iz aktivnosti istraživanja i razvoja, KK.01.2.1.01”. Project budget is around 2 ME, where 72,9% is EU funded. ASPEMS project started in August 2017 with end scheduled for July of year 2021.

Goals

  1. Diversification of Sintaksa d.o.o. product and service portfolio by introducing new competitive products with high added vale that are result of intense R&D activities
  2. Provide technical solution for increasing stability of isolated and week electro-energetic systems, enabling higher renewable energy yield in total electric energy production and increasing quality of electrical supply.
  3. Contribute to competitiveness of Croatian economy trough export of ney product that are result of R&D activities (+2,69 ME) and creation of new jobs in industry (+16)
