Abstract
The influence of soil resistance on the characteristics of the earthing conductor is emphasized and a graphical method of interpreting the results of vertical electrical sounding (VES) and its shortcomings are briefly presented. Next, a method of interpreting VES using an electronic computer based on the least squares method is presented. As a result of the processing, the parameters of the multilayer, the weights of individual parameters and the reliability area are obtained. Finally, an example of interpreting Schlumberger sounding over a double layer is given.
