The paper presents a system of near-equipotential grounding conductors treated as an electrical network. An example of a system in homogeneous soil consisting of an active mesh grounding conductor and a passive grounding conductor of a transformer station fence is considered. It also provides an overview of the accuracy of the calculation of current density, and relatedly, potential.
