Magnetic induction close to the overhead transmission line
Abstract
The paper covers the calculation of the magnetic induction distribution in the environment of a 110 kV overhead transmission line using the relation for the induction of a straight current path and the law of superposition. The results of the calculation for several current loads and different conductor heights are compared with the limit values given in domestic and international regulations and recommendations for the protection of people from extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields.
