In the paper, an analysis of the vector control system of the active and reactive power of a wind power plant with a double-fed asynchronous generator connected to the electric grid was carried out. The development of a complete dynamic model and simulation program in MATLAB-SIMULINK of the system of the wind farm connected to the electric grid was carried out. Due to the complexity of the wind farm system and its interaction with the electrical grid, certain simplifications were introduced in the program in accordance with the topic of this paper. Simulations were carried out for the time responses of generator torque, rotor angular speed, stator working power, stator reactive power, stator current and rotor current, during idle start and loading with turbine torque at constant different wind values. Current, voltage and energy situations in the dynamic modes of operation of the wind power plant and in the case of a voltage drop in the electrical network were analyzed.
