An automatic control of the polyetilen level in a low-pressure separator
Abstract
The quality of the polyetilen granulation produced in the factory DINA-Omisalj, Croatia, is strongly dependent on the variations of the polymer in the low-pressure separator. The manual control was unsuitable and therefore teh automatic contorl of the polymer level in the low-pressure separator was designed. The designed control system, together with various monitoring functions, was implemented with a programmable logic controller from Siemens.
