Dynamic Losses of the MOSFET Switch in Power Converters

Abstract

The MOSFET switch can operate in power converters at a power of up to 10 kW, with operating frequency higher than 10 kHz. The MOSFET of the BUZ-54 type is used for testing and the snubbers are not included. The comparison of simulation results with those obtained by measurements on a laboratory model of the MOSFET switch has confirmed the validity of the mathematical model.
