Impact of saturation effect in iron on asynchronus motor characteristics

Abstract

The paper compares the calculation results of asynchronous motor static characteristics with calculated impact of saturation effect in iron to the ones without it. Saturation effect calculations in iron are performed by varying the state variables, stator and rotor linkages, in motor mathematical model. Input units are the unsaturated values of stator and rotor mutual inductances and leakage inductances, as well as saturation characteristics of these inductances. Calculation results are verified by measurements.
