Dovetailing the new coal fired thermal plant 2x350 MW in daily demand curve of croatian power system

Abstract

This paper presents the methodology used to examine the technical-energy-economic parameters that define the fit of the new thermal power plant into the assumed daily consumption diagram. The method is in fact an adaptation of the existing program system for short-term planning of the work of the EES in a way that enables variant analysis and reduction of the most important results of the budget to the annual period. In the paper, two examples are given that illustrate the budget for one day, with assumed input parameters.
