One of the consequences of the restructing of energy production and industry is the increasing number of wind farms as well as other electricity sources. Wind farms are usually located in relatively remote districts. Topology and capability of absorption of the generator’s output may limit their connection into the local electricity grid. The most privileged locations of wind farms in Croatia are the Dalmatian islands in the Adriatic Sea. One of them is the island Vis. The influence of voltages and load flows in 10 kV electricity grid on the islands Vis to the number of units into the wind farm Stuppisce is analysed in this paper. The four ways of electrical energy evacuation from the wind farm to Croatian Power System are presented.
