Abstract
The accurate numerical computing of infinite Sommerfeld integrals is difficult and time-consuming. In this paper, a new algorithm for numerical approximation of the Sommerfeld integrals is presented. The kernel functions of the Sommerfeld integrals are approximated using the linear combination of 15 exponential functions. Using these approximations of the kernel functions and analytical integration based on Weber integral, a simple expression for numerical approximation of Sommerfeld integrals is given.
