Static Characteristics of Vector Controlled Asynchronous Motor with Saturation Effect

Abstract

The paper describes a simple mathematical model for the calculation of static characteristics of vector controlled asynchronous motor, with calculated saturation impact of stator and rotor mutual inductances and leakage inductances. Calculations are made by varying the state variables (stator and rotor linkages) in mathematical model of the motor for stationary states. Input units are the unsaturated values of the mutual and leakage inductances and saturation characteristics of these inductances. Asynchronous motor static characteristics with calculated saturation effect in iron are compared to those without it. Calculation results are veryfied by measurements.
