Impact of Errors on Inductance Estimation of the Induction Motor in Combined System of Vector Control

Abstract

The control system based on direct magnetic field orientation is less sensitive to parameter changes than the control system based on indirect field orientation [1]. This paper therefore analyses the vector control system based on direct magnetic field orientation. Within this system we distinguish rotor flux oriented control system, stator flux oriented system, and the so-called combined vector control system of the induction motor which is now in the research stage. In the vector control of the rotor flux oriented system both the control system and the estimator are modeled in the coordinate system oriented towards the d-component of the flux. Analogous is true for the stator flux oriented system. In the combined vector control system the control system is modeled in the coordinate system connected to the estimated rotor magnetic flux vector with external feedback based on the estimated stator flux system.
