The Finite Element Method Transient Model of Grounding Electrodes Including Corona Effect

Abstract

The paper presents the use of the finite element method when modeling a transient grounding impedance including corona effect. This paper presents the results of the finite element method(FEM)investigations to evaluate the transient(impulse)impedance of horizontal buried grounding electrodes.
