The paper calculates the protective zone of a lightning rod installation for a large-scale facility using the potential coefficient method. The lightning rod installation in question is made using a combination of horizontal, inclined and vertical rods. The calculation results are presented graphically in several characteristic planes necessary for evaluating the proposed lightning rod installation design.
