Problems associated with small-scale power plant connected to distribution networkfrom the point of view of relay protection

Abstract

The paper presents the problem of a weakly productive source in a distribution network from the point of view of its relay protection. Namely, the presence of the source in question in the distribution network affects the selection and setting of the relevant relay protection. The mentioned problem is considered on the example of a part of the 35 kV Elektrojug distribution network to which the Zavrelje HPP is connected.
