Numerical modelling of the earthing grid

Abstract

A set of methods for numerical modelling of the earthing grid based on the integral equation formulation is presented. All methods are derived from the general weighted residual method in finite element technique. The linear current density along a segment, 1D finite element, is approximated by a polinomal. The presented integral methods may be used in a combined numerical model of earthing grid based on both integral and differential equation formulation.

Throughout his career, he was a key member of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture in Split, where he taught, mentored students, and actively participated in scientific research and international professional organizations.
