Abstract
The exact calculation of Sommerfeld integrals is a very difficult task that requires relatively much computational time. In this paper, a new algorithm for numerical approximation of two typical Sommerfeld integrals is developed. In the first step, the kernel functions of the Sommerfeld integrals are approximated using a linear combination of 15 exponential functions. After the exponential approximation of the kernel: functions, a simple analytical integration based on the Weber integral follows.
