Single-Core Cable Sheath Current Load Factor

Abstract

Determining the current load factor of three single-core cables laid in trefoil formation, grounded at both ends is presented in this article. It is useful jor determining the cable sheath current. The current load factor does not depend on the cable length. It depends on geometrical and electromagnetic characteristics of the single-core cable. The current load factor can be taken for the cable construction data.
