Licence (certificate of qualification) for inspection and maintenance according to projects of special systems

Abstract

Operational traffic surfaces, installations and devices of light signaling and systems of safe power supply are parts of complex traffic units. For some types of traffic (air traffic) the legislator has issued the Ordinance on maintenance and inspection as binding legislation (Official Gazette No. 132/98 and 178/04). The current legislation requires that persons who maintain and inspect specialist systems hold a LICENSE. The legislator did not specify the method of conducting training for obtaining a license, and a group of experts close to the subject area offered their solution elaborated for one specific example. It is proposed that the acquisition and renewal of a license be planned and processed through the design of specialist systems, and carried out before or during commissioning. For systems that are already in operation in the manner proposed in this paper.

Dr. sc. Rino Lucić is a retired professor from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture in Split. Throughout his career, he taught courses at all study levels and actively participated in the realization of numerous scientific-research projects. As an author or co-author, he has published 41 scientific papers and 16 professional articles, with research interests spanning numerical modeling, transmission lines, finite element method, and power system transient analysis.
