Solution of the power supply of the tunnel TS 10/0.4 kV during remediation of the PS HPP Velebit, HPP Orlovac and HPP Zakucac intake tunnels
Abstract
The paper presents a solution for the power supply system of the tunnel substation 10/0, 4 kV, which can be uniformly applied in the repair of damage to the very long feeder tunnels of the Velebit Hydroelectric Power Plant, Orlovac Hydroelectric Power Plant and Zakucac Hydroelectric Power Plant. This solution is based on the temporary installation of a 35/10 kV power transformer, because the voltage level close to 35 kV is available in all situations. The design of the associated grounding system is also presented, which here must meet significantly stricter safety requirements. The necessary electrical protection of the 10 kV connection cable and the circuits on the low-voltage side of the tunnel substation 10/0, 4 kV is also specified.
