The paper presents analyses of current and voltage states in the screens of a disconnected triplex of single-core cables – and due to the electromagnetic influence of currents in a connected triplex of single-core cables – of a dual-system cable line, under conditions of a single-pole short circuit in the associated network. Various possible situations of grounding of the screen of a connected and disconnected cable line are considered. The corresponding theoretical foundations are presented, in which the corresponding analytical expressions are derived. All of the above analyses were carried out on a specific example of a dual-system cable line 2x110 kV.
