CONNECTION OF LARGE PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANTS ON DISTRIBUTION NETWORK

Abstract

Over the past few years, the increase in the installed capacity of photovoltaic power plants in the world has been around 50% per year. There is great interest in the construction of larger photovoltaic power plants, in the order of 1-5 MWp, in Croatia as well, despite the still undefined regulatory framework for such large photovoltaic power plants. The paper presents the basic elements of a large photovoltaic power plant, its typical configuration, the method of connection to the distribution network, and the analysis of possible operating influences.
