Electrical measurements - instructions for laboratory exercises

Abstract

The instructions are prepared so that through the exercises, students can train themselves to work with instruments, become familiar with the instruments and gain routine in connecting measuring equipment and be able to perform measurements independently. Each exercise is a combination of practical (connecting measuring equipment and performing the measurement itself) and theoretical parts, in which, based on the measured results, it is necessary to carry out a calculation to obtain some quantities that are not directly measured or to determine measurement errors. For this reason, it is necessary to know both the measurement technique and have certain theoretical knowledge. These instructions are only the basis for preparing laboratory exercises, and if there are any ambiguities, students can eliminate them by consulting with an assistant or using additional literature that covers this issue.
