Energy Development of Dalmatia Region: Energy Balances and Estimation of Energy Needs till 2020.

Abstract

This study presents the results of the second phase of the project Energy Development of Split-Dalmatia County. While the first phase of the research included the creation of an energy database with data collection, conducting a household survey and an audit of services, in this second phase the energy balance of the county was created and the energy needs forecast until 2020 was forecast. With this phase of the research, all the bases for the analysis of the future structure of the energy supply of the county were prepared. This primarily refers to gasification and the substitution of electricity consumption, primarily with gas but also with renewable energy sources (solar energy).
