Energy – economic analyses of dispatching the new coal thermal plant in the Croatian Power System

Abstract

The study investigates the impact of fitting the new 385 MW Lukovo Sugarje coal-fired thermal power plant into the Croatian power system from the point of view of fitting into the daily production diagrams, monthly and annual power balances, and the impact on the variable and marginal operating costs of the EES of Croatia.
