Overvoltage protection calculation for the 35 kV cable connection between switchyard and auxiliary transformer in HPP Senj
Abstract
The paper presents analyses and calculations of overvoltage protection of the cable connection 35 kV plant - house transformer in HPP Senj. The expected overvoltage stresses of the observed cable connection were analyzed, and appropriate surge arresters were selected. They were then numerically tested by analyzing their operation in situations of unfavorable expected overvoltages.
