Study of the 110 kV cable line Pehlin – Turnic electromagnetic influence onto the metal masses and installations

Abstract

The paper presents a numerical analysis of the electromagnetic impact of the 110 kV Pehlin – Turnic two-system cable connection on nearby metal masses and installations. This is a two-system cable connection in which, on parts of the route, there are as many as four cable systems in a common cable duct, which, during the occurrence of a single-pole short circuit in the associated 110 kV network, electromagnetically influence each other, and also exert an electromagnetic impact on nearby metal masses and installations (e.g. metal water and gas pipes, etc.).
