Parameter calculation for the relay protection of network transformer 220/110 kV, 150 MVA in HPP Zakucac

Abstract

The paper describes the calculation and selection of parameters of the relay protection system of the network transformer 220/110 kV, 150 MVA in HE Zakucac. It is an autotransformer with a stabilizing tertiary winding. The protection functions used include: three-point differential protection, REF protection, overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, thermal protection and protection against excessive magnetic induction of the transformer. They are implemented using sophisticated numerical relay devices from ABB and Siemens.
