The measurements were made in the 10/0.4 kV substation TS Sucidar 16. The so-called off-line measurement method was used, whereby the 10 kV cables were energized with an oscillating voltage from 10% to 150% of the nominal voltage. The oscillating circuit was established by a combination of the natural capacitance of the cable and the inductance of the additional coil. The level of partial discharges was measured on the cable sheaths. During the measurements, a sophisticated partial discharge level analyzer OWTS 25 from SebaKMT was used, which is used for detailed analysis of potential faults.
