Software package Groza 2.0
Abstract
The Groza 2.0 software package provides software support for the design of an optimal lightning protection system (external LPS arrester system) for high-voltage switchgear in open areas, using a GUI interface and connecting to the AutoCAD platform for exchanging information about the geometry of the plant and the LPS system. The analysis of the effectiveness of the protection system of the LPS plant is based on the application of Monte Carlo simulation, using the electrogeometric model (EGM) of lightning strike development.
