Options and transmission network stage development influenced by the connection of HPP Zakučac on 220 kV transmission network

Abstract

Considering the complexity of the Zakučac HPP revitalization process and its importance in the EES of Croatia, adjustments and upgrades of the surrounding transmission network must be coordinated in stages, and all necessary operations prepared and carried out in a timely manner. For this reason, this report investigated and proposed a plan for the construction of the surrounding transmission network, and defined the priorities and phasing of the construction, taking into account the variant of connecting all four aggregates of HPP Zakučac to the 220 kV busbars.
